Terms of Service

Effective as of: September 5, 2026
Last updated: October 4, 2026

1. Who I Am

Nur Support Services is owned and operated solely by Esra Nur Altun, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with active certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). When these Terms say "I," "me," or "my," it means Esra Nur Altun, doing business as Nur Support Services. There are no other owners, employees, or affiliated companies involved in the operation of this business.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of nursupportservices.com (the "Site") and any behavior-analytic coaching, assessment, consultation, or review services I provide (the "Services").

By purchasing or using my Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

2. What I Offer

I provide the following Services, described in more detail on my Services page:

  • A Little Support — one 60-minute coaching session targeting one goal, with 1–2 actionable strategies. From $75.

  • Steady Support — six (6) weekly or bi-weekly 60-minute coaching sessions, including goal identification, barrier analysis, co-created strategies, self-data tracking, a personalized Roadmap, and email support between sessions. $1,000.

  • Deep Support — twelve (12) weekly or bi-weekly 60-minute coaching sessions, including a halfway review and course adjustment, an expanded Roadmap, and a 30-minute "Keeping It Going" call at week 14. $1,800.

  • Assessment Only — a Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) including caregiver interview, record review, live virtual observation, and recorded video analysis, plus a Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) and one follow-up consultation. $2,500.

  • Assessment + — everything in Assessment Only, plus four weeks of coaching (one 60-minute session per week). $3,000.

  • IEP/BIP Review — a written professional review of an IEP or BIP with clear, evidence-based recommendations. From $150.

  • Custom Data Tracker — a customized behavior/data tracking tool. From $10.

Service details, inclusions, and pricing may change. The price and scope in effect at the time of your purchase is the price and scope that applies to you.

3. Scope of Services — Important Limitations

I am not a medical provider, and I do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. My Services are behavioral, educational, and consultative in nature.

Coaching. Coaching is a collaborative, goal-focused process. It is not psychotherapy, counseling, or clinical treatment. You are responsible for your own decisions, actions, and follow-through.

Assessment. An FBA is conducted virtually, with limited exceptions. It relies on caregiver interview, record review, live virtual observation, and recorded video analysis. It is not an in-person clinical evaluation, and the quality of the assessment depends on the accuracy and completeness of the information and video you provide.

IEP/BIP Review. This is a professional written review only. I do not act as an advocate, and I do not attend IEP meetings. Recommendations are provided in writing for your team to consider and implement. I do not guarantee any particular educational, placement, eligibility, or legal outcome. My review is not legal advice, and it does not create an attorney-client relationship.

No guarantee of results. Behavior change depends on many factors outside my control, including consistency of implementation, environment, and the individuals involved. I do not guarantee any specific outcome, timeline, or level of improvement.

Not a crisis or emergency service. My Services are not designed for emergencies. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).

4. Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information, including about the individual whose behavior is being assessed or coached

  • Provide video recordings, records, and other materials as reasonably requested, in the format and timeframe I specify

  • Ensure you have the legal authority to share any information you give me (see Section 5)

  • Implement or share recommendations as you see fit — the decision to implement is yours

  • Comply with all applicable laws

  • Not use my Services for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose

  • Not record our sessions without my prior written consent

Timely participation. Coaching and assessment packages are time-bound. If you repeatedly reschedule, cancel, or fail to attend, sessions may be forfeited. See Section 8.

5. Children, Consent, and Third-Party Information

Many of my Services concern children or dependent adults. If you provide me with information about another person, you represent and warrant that you have the legal authority and any required consent to do so — including parental or guardian consent where applicable. If you are a professional (for example, a teacher or advocate) sharing records, you represent that you are authorized to share them.

If you are a parent or guardian consenting on behalf of a minor, you consent to my collection and use of that minor's information as described in my Privacy Policy. I do not sell or share the personal information of minors.

6. Privacy and Confidentiality

My handling of your personal information — including behavioral information, IEP/BIP records, progress notes, and medical history — is governed by my Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference and available at nursupportservices.com.

Please review it. Key points include:

  • I retain your personal information, including behavioral data, assessments, and plans, for 7 years.

  • I do not sell your personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

  • Mandated reporting: As a BCBA and Qualified Autism Service Professional in California, I am a mandated reporter under the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act (CANRA), Penal Code § 11164 et seq. I must report known or reasonably suspected child abuse or neglect to the appropriate authorities, regardless of any confidentiality obligation I may otherwise have.

  • Safety disclosures: I may disclose confidential information without your consent where permitted by law for a valid purpose, including to protect you or others from harm.

  • Because I am a solo practitioner, there is no internal team with access to your information. Limited third parties (for example, Calendly for scheduling, and PayPal and Squarespace Payments for payment processing) assist in operating the business.

Note on privilege. Our communications may not be protected by therapist-client or attorney-client privilege. Coaching and consultation sessions are not psychotherapy and are not privileged in the same way. Please keep this in mind when deciding what to share.

7. Payment and Payment Plans

  • Payment is due at checkout unless a payment plan is selected.

  • Payment plans are available on Assessment Only ($625 at checkout, then $468.75 every 3 weeks), Assessment + ($750 at checkout, then $750 biweekly), Steady Support ($250 at checkout, then 5 weekly payments of $150), and Deep Support ($450 at checkout, then 2 monthly payments of $675).

  • By selecting a payment plan, you authorize me (or my payment processor) to charge your payment method on the schedule shown at checkout until the full amount is paid.

  • Missed payments. If a scheduled payment fails or is not made, I may pause Services and suspend access to scheduled sessions until the balance is current.

  • Failed or disputed payments. If you initiate a chargeback or dispute a valid charge, I may suspend Services and may recover the amount owed plus any fees I incur.

  • Prices are in U.S. dollars. You are responsible for any applicable taxes.

  • Payments are processed by PayPal and Squarespace Payments (which includes major credit and debit cards, Google Pay, Link by Stripe, ACH Direct Debit, Apple Pay, Afterpay, and Klarna). Your use of those payment methods is also subject to the payment provider's own terms and privacy policy.

8. Scheduling, Cancellation, Rescheduling, and Refunds

Scheduling. Sessions are scheduled through Calendly or as otherwise agreed.

Rescheduling and cancellation by you. Please provide at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel a session.

Late cancellations and no-shows. If you cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours' notice, or fail to attend a scheduled session, a fee of $150 applies, and the session is counted as used. The fee is charged to your payment method on file. If you are on a payment plan, the fee is charged in addition to your scheduled payments. I may waive the fee once, at my discretion, for genuine emergencies.

Cancellation by me. If I must cancel a session, I will offer a rescheduled time or a credit, at your choice. You will not be charged a fee, and the session will not be counted as used.

Session expiration. Coaching sessions expire 3 weeks (21 days) after they are purchased, or after the prior session, whichever is later, unless we agree otherwise in writing. Sessions that expire unused are forfeited and are not refundable. If you need an extension, contact me before the expiration date and I will consider it in good faith.

Refunds — pro-rated.

  • Paid in full. If you stop partway through a package, you are refunded for the unused sessions. "Unused" means sessions not yet delivered and not counted as used under this section.

  • Payment plan. You are charged only for sessions you have used. Any amount collected beyond the sessions used will be refunded to you, and remaining scheduled payments for unused sessions will be cancelled.

  • Assessment Only, Assessment +, and IEP/BIP Review. These are milestone-based rather than session-based. If you cancel:

    • Before I begin work: full refund.

    • After work has begun but before the report or review is delivered: refund of the unused portion, pro-rated based on the stage of work completed.

    • After the report, review, or deliverable has been delivered: not refundable.

  • Custom Data Tracker. Not refundable once the tracker has been delivered. Refundable in full if cancelled before I begin building it.

  • Late-cancellation and no-show fees are not refundable.

  • Processing time. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 7 business days. Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the credit.

Chargebacks. Please contact me first if you have a billing concern — I will work with you in good faith. If you initiate a chargeback on a valid charge, I may suspend Services and provide the processor with these Terms and your purchase records.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site and all materials I create — including assessment reports, FBAs, BIPs, Roadmaps, data trackers, templates, written reviews, and session materials — are owned by me and protected by intellectual property laws.

What you get: Upon full payment, you receive a personal, non-transferable license to use the deliverables I create for you (your FBA, BIP, Roadmap, tracker, or review) for your own personal, family, or internal organizational purposes, including sharing them with your child's team, school, or providers as you see fit.

What you may not do: You may not resell, republish, or distribute my materials commercially, or use them to create a competing product or service, without my written permission. Templates, trackers, and blank forms remain my property.

I retain the right to use de-identified, aggregated information to improve my services and for professional purposes, consistent with my Privacy Policy.

10. Testimonials and Feedback

If you provide feedback or a testimonial, I may use it (in de-identified or identified form, as you permit) to promote my Services. You may withdraw permission at any time by contacting me.

11. Technology, Video, and Virtual Services

Assessment and coaching are conducted virtually using third-party platforms. I am not responsible for outages, connectivity problems, platform failures, or technical issues on your end. If a session is substantially disrupted by a technical failure on my end, I will reschedule it at no charge. Recorded video analysis depends on the quality of the recordings you provide.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, I SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES.

MY TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID ME FOR THE SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM IN THE 6 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing in these Terms limits my obligations under the BACB Ethics Code, the Behavior Analyst Certification Board's disciplinary system, or any applicable state licensing or regulatory requirement.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Esra Nur Altun and Nur Support Services from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Services; (b) your breach of these Terms; (c) your violation of any law or third-party right; or (d) information you provided to me that you were not authorized to share.

14. Termination

Either of us may end our working relationship with written notice. I may suspend or terminate Services immediately if: you fail to pay; you breach these Terms; you are abusive or threatening; or continuing would require me to violate the BACB Ethics Code, applicable law, or my professional obligations.

If I terminate for a reason other than your breach, I will refund any amounts paid for Services not yet delivered, consistent with Section 8. If you terminate, or I terminate due to your breach, amounts paid for undelivered Services are refundable on a pro-rated basis, consistent with Section 8.

Note: Ending our relationship does not override my mandated reporting duties under CANRA or my record retention obligations described in my Privacy Policy.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Santa Clara County, California, and both parties consent to personal jurisdiction and venue there. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking relief in small claims court.

16. Changes to These Terms

I may update these Terms to reflect changes in my business, practices, or the law. If I do, I will post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated by email or a Site notice.

17. Miscellaneous

  • Entire agreement. These Terms, together with my Privacy Policy and any checkout terms or service agreement, are the entire agreement between us.

  • Severability. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.

  • No waiver. My failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.

  • Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without my written consent.

  • Headings. Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
